Encouraging Teamwork and Collaboration.

Bruce regularly works with people, teams and organizations of diverse backgrounds to help them find common ground. He helps them to find solutions to intense challenges and when there are strong differences of opinion. He enables teams to hold a difficult conversation in a way that leaves all parties feeling more confident about the future of the organization and their respective role in it.

Strategic Thinking and Decisionmaking.

Bruce has a broad range of experience in helping people and organizations brainstorm and think creatively about their strategy and their future. He leads all strategic thinking discussions with a focus on an appropriate balance between ideation and implementation. He has vast experience in helping organizations fight through cultural, territorial and ego challenges to reach consensus and to make decisions on important issues.

Moderating Panel Discussions.

Bruce has unique experience in drawing panelists into interesting discussions. He works hard to engage each panelist in a conversation with the audience. He keeps the discussion moving so that it has relevance and is interesting. Bruce has moderated discussions and programs in many places around the world.

  • JCI United Nations Leadership Summit, UN Headquarters, New York City. Speakers included Nane Annan, wife of UN Secretary General Kofi Annan and Carol Bellamy, Executive Director of UNICEF (August 7, 2003).
  • International Forum on Youth Business, Beijing China. "Business and Enterprise Development: Helping the SME Sector Grow." Panelists included Andrew Fiddaman, Associate Director, Prince of Wales International Business Leaders Forum and Director, Youth Business International; Zhou Jinfeng, Deputy Director, SME Committee, All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce (November 25, 2003).
  • International Chamber of Commerce, 3rd World Chambers Congress, Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. "Investing in the future: Chambers and young entrepreneurs." Panelists included: Michael Coyle, CEO, Galway Chamber of Commerce, Ireland; Edward Zeng, Chairman and CEO, Sparkice, China's leading e-Sourcing company; Louis Trahan, Chairman of the Board, Canadian Junior Chamber (September 16, 2003).
